Directions from Miami Airport to Key West 

1. Go West on East-West Expressway (836) to Florida Turnpike (836 ends here) - 7.5 miles.

2. Go Southwest on Florida's Turnpike (Toll) to US 1 (end of Florida Turnpike) - 17.5 miles. 

3. Continue on US 1 to Key West - 131.6 miles.

4. When you reach Key West at the top of the island, stay to the right & continue on US 1.  
   US1 turns into Truman Avenue (4 lanes to 2 lanes). 

5. Continue on Truman Avenue to Windsor Lane. The Mermaid & The Alligator is on the corner of Truman & Windsor - 3 miles. 

6. Make a right on Windsor lane and the parking area is on your left.   
   (If you see Simonton or Duval Street you've gone too far, Just turn around and go back up US1 to Windsor Lane)
